Prachi Shah , started her journey of Kathak under the guidance of Guru Asha tai Joglekar when she was 12 years old. Her intermediate training was with Guru Mukta Joshi, senior disciple of Roshan Kumari ji. After moving to Canada, she pursued her dance training with Mudra School of dance and completed Nritya Visharad from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal. She has had the opportunity to train under legendary Kathak Maestros like Pt Birju Maharaj , Guru Shama Tai Bhate And Guru Sandhya Desai through various workshops. Prachi has performed at various events locally and internationally. Today she successfully runs the Mudra School of Dance’s Mississauga location and has been instrumental in the schools growth. Her eye for detail and enthusiasm to learn and achieve perfection is an asset for the school as well as her students!
Originally trained in Bharatnatyam, post her immigration to Canada was intrigued by the tenacity and the complexity of Kathak as an performing arts form of northern India. She started training under Saveet Sharma, Upasana -Spirit of Dance, from 2011 to 2017. Currently Radhika aspires to complete her graduation in Kathak at Mudra School of Dance. Radhika is also an Instructor with the school and manages the Brantford location. Radhika has also performed with Mudra School of dance at various events.
