As I held my theory books in my hands, I could feel the weight of the knowledge hidden within those pages. At first glance, it may seem like I have learned so much, but as I delved deeper, I realized that I have only scratched the surface.
These books are not just mere collections of theory, they are manifestations of the profound thoughts and teachings of the masters. How lucky are we to have access to such literature, which holds the key to unlocking the secrets of Kathak, one of the most beautiful dance forms in the world?
But how many of us are truly passing on this knowledge to the next generations or encouraging them to delve into these texts? We need to realize that just like the ancient artifacts of the Mohenjo-Daro or Harappa civilizations, these texts hold traditions and practices that are rare and precious. We can only imagine what they must have been like. Unfortunately, we cannot simply display them in a museum. The only way to truly preserve them is by practicing and passing them on to future generations.
